Each of our natural stone slabs has a look all its own, available in a rainbow of colors and veining patterns to suit any taste. Unlike our competitors, NEKA takes customization options to the next level with a number of different finish options for your stone projects. Each finish is applied using a fully automated process that guarantees precision and uniformity.
Let’s take a look at NEKA’s finish options:
- Honed finishes deliver a satin-smooth, matte finish with little to no gloss. Natural stone with a honed finish often appears softer and more natural than stone that’s polished.
- Leathered finishes are also soft and natural, giving your stone a feel similar to genuine leather. When applied on granite, this finish is particularly good at hiding fingerprints and smudges, making it a great fit for homes with children.
- Sandblasted finishes give the natural stone a slightly scratched, but not rugged surface. This dulls the colors and veins for a more muted look.
- Polished finishes are likely the finish you’re most familiar with for natural stone. This finish achieves the highest level of shine possible for the stone you choose, giving it an elegant appearance and vibrant colors.
- Flamed finishes involve roughing up the stone to create slip resistance through the use of fire. This finish is not available with all stones; it works best with granite and some hard limestone.
- Brush-hammered finishes leave the stone smooth with small indentations.
